There are two local shopping on either end of Valley Rd, both within walking distance. You will find many fine restaurants offering a variety of ethnic foods. Please ask us for recommendations. You will find boutiques, antique shops, post offices, banks, supermarket, gift shops, cafes and many more. One of Auckland's most famous and interesting tourist attractions is located in our area. The summit of Mt Eden, an extinct volcano and crater, is a popular lookout point and offers panoramic views over the whole city. An easy 15-minute stroll will take you to the top. On the eastern slopes of Mt Eden you will find the hidden treasure of Eden Gardens, a beautifully landscaped botanical garden in a disused quarry. It is famous for the rhododendrons and azaleas. Eden Park is renowned for rugby and cricket. Please ask us for further activities in our area, including tennis, golf and swimming. |

can be reached by public transport easily, or you can use your car
to travel to the city centre and use the public carparks. Despite
