Accommodation

Our guest accommodation comprises three modern bedrooms (two queen + one king/twin).

All rooms have quality furnishings, tea and coffee facilities, lovely soft bathrobes, plus books and magazines for your enjoyment. Each guest bedroom has a large ensuite with heated floor and towel rail. There is also a guest fridge for your use.

Upstairs we have a large, private super-king / twin bed suite with ensuite and private deck.

Guests use the comfortable, informal lounge and dining areas plus enjoy the many outdoor areas around the garden and decks.

Environmental Policies

At Kawau Lodge we are environmentally conscious. We use rainwater for showers, toilet, laundry, garden watering. Solar panels heat our water and a bio-cycle system treats all waste water. We compost all household scraps, shred paper and we take all bottles and plastic to the mainland for recycling.

We use eco cleaning products which are biodegradable and environmentally friendly and our soaps and shampoos are all made from natural essential oils with no chemical detergents.

In your room you will find information about the Kiwi Green Regeneration program. Sponsoring kauri and other native trees through their scheme could offset the carbon footprint of your visit to our beautiful country.
